Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and  causes us to be alive.

The word “ Reiki” is made of two Japanese words – Rei, which means “God’s Wisdom” or “the Higher Power”, and Ki, which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy”. Reiki is believed to have been associated with Mikao Usui, who is credited with rediscovering the root system now called Reiki at the end of the 19^th century. His tradition and methods were passed through several grandmasters of Reiki. Usui taught Reiki to over 2000 people during his lifetime and through his students it finally made its way into the West.

Today Reiki is the best known form of modern energy healing. For most of us it was the first contact with palm healing which nearly didn’t exist in its old traditional form  anymore. He created a new system with specific symbols to connect with the Reiki energy. The symbols he saw once in a vision in the sky are very beautiful and reminding us of the sacred geometry of ancient cultures.

For the crystal healing we’re teaching we don’t use symbols because we believe that a pure heart is sufficient to connect with the healing energy which surrounds all of us and that every kind of symbolization just brings more trouble into a world where people are already fighting about the real God and the true connection.

We ask Mr Usui for his forgiveness, but the Old Testament has told us not to iconize God, and Buddha taught us to break the rules once we learned them, and that’s what we actually did after finishing our Reiki Masters. But in deep respect about Mikao Usui’s lifework we are offering original Reiki treatments in his pure tradition as well.
